French press
French press is a simple and classic method of preparing coffee. Although it is not always fully appreciated, it can yield great results when used correctly. Coffee beans are completely immersed in hot water during preparation, which gives the drink an intense sweet flavor. You will especially appreciate this when adding milk, as the strength of the coffee remains intact. French press is ideal for multiple people and naturally sweet coffees.

Learn to make French press like a true barista.
Step 01
Before adding ground coffee, we recommend pouring hot water into the French press and then disposing of it. This step will thoroughly warm the device and improve the extraction process.
Step 02
Heat the water to an optimal temperature of 93-96 °C. Add 19 g of coffee to the French press, pour in 300 ml of water, and stir.
Step 03
At 3:30, stir the coffee and remove the foam from the surface. The coffee will settle at the bottom, and the remaining foam will stay on top. Before pressing, scoop off the top layer of foam with a spoon and discard it. Removing the foam helps create a cleaner cup of coffee.
Step 04
At 4:00, when the coffee has rested after stirring and removing the foam, it's time to attach the filter and slowly press down. It's important to press slowly to prevent sediment from being pushed through the mesh filter into your cup. Then pour the coffee into a new pot or pour it into cups and you can taste it.
