Cold Brew
Hot summer months are a great time to prepare our favorite cold brew. This coffee offers a naturally sweet and concentrated flavor that can be enjoyed with milk or just with ice for refreshment. We recommend coffee beans with a pronounced taste and intense sweetness to make the cold brew full of flavor. If you don't have a special container, you can prepare it like we do in a French press.
Recipe
Coffee to water ratio: 70:800 g (1:12)
Coffee: 70 g (coarse grind)

Learn to make Cold Brew like a true barista.
Step 01
For a fully aromatic cold brew coffee that won't be weak, we recommend a ratio of 1:12, which means 12 parts water to 1 part coffee. For 800 ml of water, use approximately 70 g of coffee. Grind the coffee coarser than you are used to for classic Pour over and add it to the French press.
Step 02 / Varianta 1
Pour 200 ml of hot water (about 95 °C) into the French press, stir briefly, and then add 600 ml of cold water. The hot water helps with better extraction and releases more flavors, making your cold brew taste stronger. This preparation is great for drinking with ice or milk.
Step 02 / Varianta 2
Or you can directly pour 800 ml of cold water into the French press and thus obtain a lighter-tasting drink. Stir the coffee and water mixture with a spoon, cover the French press with the lid without pressing down the plunger. Put it in the refrigerator to chill.
Step 03
After 12 to 18 hours of steeping, you can press the plunger of the French press and serve cold brew over ice or just as it is.
