Vietnam Oriental Beauty

Oolong tea / 50g tin

This rare oolong is grown in northern Vietnam in the mountainous province of Ha Giang. The leaves are partially affected by tiny tea pests, which trigger natural oxidation directly on the bush and give the tea its characteristic honey sweetness. Hand-picked and carefully processed leaves create an infusion with notes of honey, ripe fruit, and delicate floral nuances. The result is an elegant tea with a round flavor and a long aftertaste.

Ingredients: Oolong tea.

Vietnam Oriental Beauty is a rare oolong tea, cultivated in the mountainous province of Ha Giang in northern Vietnam, near the border with China. This area is famous for its tea gardens, which stretch across the slopes of mountains at altitudes of about 1,000–1,500 meters. The clean mountain air, humid climate, and traditional farming methods create ideal conditions for the development of tea of extraordinary quality.

The uniqueness of this tea lies in the natural process where the leaves are attacked during growth by small tea leafhoppers (Jacobiasca formosana). They cause partial damage to the leaves, triggering natural oxidation directly on the bush. The result is a characteristic honey sweetness and fruity aroma, making this oolong a true rarity.

After harvest, the leaves are carefully handpicked and traditionally processed – first allowed to wither, then gently rolled and partially oxidized to achieve their typical flavor complexity. In the cup, they produce a golden amber brew with a full, rounded taste. Notes of honey, ripe fruit, delicate floral nuances, and slight spice emerge beautifully in a long, sweetly soothing aftertaste.

Vietnam Oriental Beauty is a tea for true connoisseurs – it showcases how nature and tradition can create a harmony of flavors and aromas that cannot be replicated.
